Gosh I'm the lurkiest on my OWN page, huh?
I just reread my last post and don't even remember writing it! LOL Well there goes most of a year.
So I'm not even sure what job I was working at that I was so excited about....well I remember, but can't relate what I wrote to the actual experience that it ended up being. However since the beginning of June all of what I wrote really DOES apply. I'm back in social services, ie., homeless services, and I'm totally jazzed to be where I am. There's about to be a ton of changes, not good ones mind you, but changes and my faith has to lie in the structure and organization of our organization.
So anyway, it's fall in my corner of the world and between the arctic cold front sinking in from the north, and the remnants of Hurricane Norbert coming in with strength and gusto from the south it's awful here today. Blew out the Balloon Fiesta for the rest of the weekend. So sad for the multinational crowd.......but as a resident I won't really be sad to see the traffic ease a LOT. There hasn't been one day this week where someone hasn't been seriously injured or died in a traffic accident.....and then there was the balloonist who tragically went up in flames. Really didn't need to see all the amateur vids this week on the news.
:) Well hey, life goes on.......slowly and steadily right.
