Both nadia and the baby to be are doing fine. She is still in hospital to try and get her blood pressure back down, but apart from getting bored stupid she is good (and apparantly being fed well

cheers I texted her yesterday to see if she wanted a call and she said she'd let me know when it was safe. I didn't hear back so left it in case they were releasing her. Tell her if you speak to her before me if she wants a chat just text me and i'll call her back xx

In the scenario her mat leave ought to kick in early - she can tell work that her illness is pregnancy related and if its before the 12 (?) week ish i am sure the midwife would sign it off. Hope your friend is ok x

Cheers Di - she can take calls on her mobile and I am sure she will appreciate any distraction possible! Ps Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-8 so any other time for a call will be great.

Thanks C. She is a nurse cov which as you know is very high pressured and it was after her shift on Friday that her routine check up proved that she should give it up now as she already had diabetes and they were making her do too much which shoved up her BP.

Thankfully I can call her every day but GnZ both have stinking colds so cannot go visit as can't risk passing on extra bugs (also cannot take Z in as he is not a blood relative - go figure).

Will get another update tomorrow after her next set of blood tests so will post again then.
