I've been out of touch with LJspace for rather a long time, and I'm becoming overwhelmed trying to actually catch up with everyone (it's been almost three years, after all. >.So, fill me in, friends. What's been going on in your fabulous lives, eh? And please don't say "same old same old" because I honestly might not even recall what that same old

Let's see. In three years my daughter has grown to be 4 and I have acquired (the hard way) a little boy who will be one year old in early October. I've discovered that I have relatively severe gestational diabetes while I'm pregnant (which is a marker for type 2 diabetes later), and that I can't seem to have children without icky c-sections. Luckily I'll be 40 this year and I'm done with the baby making. I hate abdominal surgery, and I'd like to be allowed to sleep again some day.

I'm working like, 10 hours a week, managing web content for a tiny nonprofit. My husband continues to do interaction design for the web, though he's been between jobs much of the summer.

I'm been spending a lot of my time costuming (renaissance and Victorian), and while nothing I do is anything I'm entirely satisfied with, I am improving. (I'm seldom satisfied with my work at anything...)

We just moved from a tiny two bedroom apartment to a rather larger 3 bedroom. This may save my sanity, since I really need to have space separate from my brilliant chatterbox daughter.

My end of San Francisco continues to be foggy and cold, and the Pacific Ocean has been gracious and not hurt us yet.
