Let the Pre-Fall Frolicking Commence!

Ahhhhhh, Autumn's a-coming, and I can't bloody wait. Even though living in Austin means we won't be seeing daytime temps below 80 for at least another month, it's definitely started to cool down in the evenings. Given that I'm primarily a night-owl, this makes me a right happy bean.

The first subtle heralds of the approaching equinox are beginning to manifest in the local ambient-energy fields, as well. Granted, at this latitude the shift is still barely perceptible, but I definitely noticed it last night. Little electromagnetic tweaks and twists, the sun's light altering in quality and intensity, a faint-but-growing melancholy anticipation encroaching onto my thoughts at random moments, and it's only a matter of time before my desire for skin-on-skin intimate contact begins rising in pitch and my hormones start beating me about the heart and gonads with their demands for sensual energy-exchange(I expect the drubbing to be especially fierce this season given that it's been 5-1/2 years since I last felt a woman's touch in the sensual way, which is something of a "record" for me since I first became sexually active).

I'm feeling a very strong urge to go on walkabout this Autumn. No idea where I might go or even how I'd get there but, now that I've actually put the intent out there, and if I'm truly ready for such an adventure again, I trust the Goddess will make such details more clear to me as the season progresses.

Speaking of sunlight, Ye Olde Merry Big Ball O' Fire has finally crested above the treetops, and that's my sign that it's time to get on to bed.
