I've already done enough work that none more would need to be done this weekend. Nevertheless, I read a fair number of pages yesterday, and have reviewed Latin and read more history today. In fact, the only break I had was exercycling while reviewing Latin flashcards!
I could call it quits now, listen to music and ease to sleep while letting my imagination roll. But the music would lack sense and harmony, my night would be restless, and my imaginings would be cardboard repeats of what I've dreamt before. All because I have two more hours, from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM, that I can exploit. The prize is so ripe that to deny it would tarnish everything else. So I'm gonna review the next two chapters of Latin, and peruse another 50 pages for history, and then call it a day.
Lao Tzu's ideal was to work without effort. That only comes when you're so driven, determined and trained in the right habits that you not only want to work more, that if you don't, everything else will be spoiled.
But enough reflections. Time to hear the cracking whip of my own will!
