I woke up at 1:45 p.m. to-day. That's something that only my little brother would do. I feel so ashamed, mostly because I have a cr*pload of SJS stuff to do... namely, A&P worksheet, calc homework (!!!), English paper prep (I know there's going to be a paper soon...), Philosophy paper prep (there is definitely a paper due soon), and USAP paper! AUGH.
And last night I had a whirlwind of SJS dreams. I can't even remember all of them.
In one, I was bringing a massive fruit tray to English class and so had to pick it up before school, but paying for it took forever (because I was searching through my mum's change purse, looking for quarters, but whenever I found one, my mum would say, "No, no, I want to keep that one") and then we had to bring it to school via an eighteen-wheeler... and driving / riding in that was definitely an odd experience. Because of this, I was late for my second-period study hall (monitored by Mr. Popp, as was the case in a dream I had last week). I was supposed to take an A&P test that day but had forgotten to study for it, but Mr. Popp wouldn't let me off the hook and so made me take it... and during the period, other study hall people would come up and eat off the fruit tray! In the end, I completely bombed my test and the only things left on the fruit tray were some bare grape stems.
In another dream, we were on some weird Review deadline. And Mark W. was writing a long "how SJS could improve" letter to the paper.
In another, I won a scholarship essay contest about diversity. The contest was sponsored by Clare.
In another, I was in the VST, which was a lot different - namely because it had two stages in the same one theatre. A crazy production that used both stages was in progress.
In another... gosh, I don't know. So many fragments of so many different dreams I had last night are coming to mind, but I can't piece them together.
At any rate, I had some nuts-o dreams.
Photos from Galveston to come.
