Lotsa lotsa randomisms!
So, yesterday I went for dim son (sp?) with Allison, Amorette, Smee, and Mrs. Chan. And Alex A. happened to be there, so after I went to his table to say hi, he followed me back to ours and stuck around enough to sign my yearbook.
Then I went to Kathryn's graduation party, where a bee was chasing Ouidell all over the place and where we played "Loaded Questions" and signed yearbooks and ate fajitas and lounged around in the pool.
Last Friday, while I was in Kef's office as he signed my yearbook, I was rooting around in my purse - one that I haven't used in ages - and found a bunch of old gift cards in one of the pockets. So last night, I took out the gift cards - some of which were given to me at my Bat Mitzvah five years and two months ago! - and called up the stores' toll-free numbers to see if any of them had any balance left. I was very surprised to see that all of them still have money on them; I've had some gift cards whose stores subtract a rate from the cards' balance for every month I didn't use them.
So, to-day we went shopping! At The Gap, I bought some shirts and a pair of sandals, and then at Target I bought a cuuuute dress that I wish I'd seen earlier because then I could've worn it to Awards or Senior Dinner or something. But whatever. I still have other cards that I really want to use up, but we ran out of time to-day. We'll go shopping later this week...
...and speaking of this week, I am leaving on Saturday. So I was wondering if we could do a lunch thing on Friday or something. Let me know if that sounds good. E-mail me, call me, or leave a comment... whichever!
SPEAKING OF WHICH, I AM GOING TO MISS THE REVIEW'S END-OF-THE-YEAR PARTY. IS THAT NOT ABSURD OF WHAT?! I don't know if "absurd" is the right word, but whatever. I am tres sad. No, really, I am. Augh.
Mizzou shipped my MacBook Pro to-day, and I'm hoping desperately that it'll arrive before Saturday because I really-really-really need a computer at Philmont. A computer or two, with Internet access, are available in the staff lounge, but I really need my own computer because I have to store all these photos I'm going to take. Yeah, I have three memory cards - the one that came with the camera holds 15 photos (read: worthless), a 256-mg card, and a 1-gb card - but those couldn't store more than half a month's worth of photos, even though I plan to be selective about which ones I keep. So... let's hope this Mac arrives in fewer than five days! :/
In the meantime, I have tons of millions of lots of things to do ("tons of millions of lots of things"...?) before Philmont. So, toodles!
