So I started my second year of uni today. I'm sort of excited about getting to use my head again, I've been away for too long. I had my first "Pop Culture and Mass Communication" lecture today, I had a feeling I would either love it or hate it, but he opened by playing Gary Numan's Cars, so I'll take that as a good sign.

Speaking of Gary Numan, I've decided to try collect older music I buy from now on on vinyl. (If the cost is roughly the same). Because
a) I'm sick of buying CDs and only really listening to them on the 'puter or on my MD player.
b) my folks have this lovely record player/buffet with inbuilt speakers thats going to waste in the garage, all it needs is a new needle. and
c) vinyl's pretty.

Speaking of music, does anyone else here use last.fm? I'm a little addicted, the neighbourhood radio is a neat feature. I'm gnomephantoms over there too, for anyone who wishes to add me. Although I should point out, my profile is pretty inaccurate at the moment, since I've only really been listening to new stuff that I've *gasp* downloaded since I got ADSL.

And I'm not looking forward to the Commonwealth Games.
