procrastination
Wooooaaaah
This is my last night in Italy. Many frustrations, disappointment but also... Delirium. In a good way.
If i had a bucket list going to Pompeii would have been on there, and I could cross it off. I tried 2 days in a row to get to Mt Vesuvius, but the darn weather ruined it and it was closed, even though today was gorrrgeous. It's funny the way things happen. Discouraged I went off to Sorrento; I'd planned on checking it out, then a girl I met Monday strongly recommended taking the bus toward Amalfi from there. Best tip ever. I spent hours wandering around Praiano, and ended up in Amalfi for souvenir shopping, and 2 patios. Had coconut gelato that MMMM was way too good. I had saved the best looking til last, which sadly I did not have enough time to check out on foot. Positano... I'll be back. Someday. Honeymoon destination forrrr sure.
Tomorrow I go back to Nice.
Sunday morning I go to Marseille but straight to the airport to fly out to Djerba... And then my Saharan adventure begins................
---- despite all of this, I really miss my B, and I feel bad enjoying myself knowing how much he misses me. Ohhhhh amore!
