So I've been baking cupcakes from scratch for the past two or three weeks. I have found a recipe that I like a lot and I have tinkered with it to make it taste just right. My only issue now is that I can't make the cupcakes rise up and make that little dome on top. All of mine are completely flat. :(
What am I doing wrong? I tried adding extra baking powder/soda and using self-rising flour but that didn't do anything for them. Am I over-filing the cupcake holders?
