Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.
My words, thanks to
maureen:
1.) wine - is something that I have always enjoyed and one of the few things I did not mind splurging on. Working at Wolfe's and being surrounded by very fancy wines I got to be a little bit of a snob. Now, however, I've become a lot less focused on the price-point of a wine and I am learning to enjoy those < $10 bottles I can pick up at the grocery store. While I am on the subject, I should probably give a quick shout-out to my current fav wine - Resurrection Merlot. I don't normally like merlot but there is something special about this one. I love the artwork on the label and it is a very good conversation piece for when I share it with company. It is a good stand-alone wine or it pairs nicely with any red meat, certain chicken dishes and some really strong cheese.
2.) motherhood - is the greatest thing that could have ever happened to me. There is nothing that could compare to holding my son or the way he smiles and hugs me. For those of you reading this who do not have kids, I'm sure you get tired of hearing this sort of thing but its something you really can't understand until you experience it for yourself.
3.) casinos - suck. I have been working in one for a year now and I just don't understand how people can gamble as much as they do. Especially knowing that the odds favor the casino!
4.) weeds - I know this one is alluding to the show on shotime so I will say that the show is awesome even though it is getting a little more over the top as the seasons progress, but they do leave the best end-of-season cliff-hangers EVER! What I really think about when I hear "weeds" is helping my mom pull them in the backyard during the summer when I was little. I don't think I ever liked doing it but it was something we did together about twice a week or so.
5.) the quiet (good) life - is exactly what I am living! Sometimes I think back to the way I was before I met Tim and I can hardly recognize myself.
