I visited St Peter's on a dark November day - not many tourists. I have never been so stunned walking through the doorway of a building. The sheer scale.
In the end, those boys' looks of triumph and chagrin have become so entwined with my memories of the statue that I can't fully say if it's just the sculpture that's so memorable or the entire experience.
Those are two great memories to intertwine!

St. Peter's really is astounding! I really want to go back to Italy, it being my first, I had so little to compare it to. But for a first time, it was fantastic! ^__^
