YEEEESS I instantly abandoned the Thor kinkmeme for the X-Men one. I love having this fandom and this pairing back, because... I think they were my first frenemy pairing? And my first American comics fandom!
Which brings me to a shameless question - if I had written a Charles/Erik fic (or would write one), would you like to beta it? Not right now or anything, just in general, and it's perfectly okay to say no!
Yeah, between the Clex and these guys (well, and several anime pairings...), I gotta say, I really do have a frememy kink..especially when its they were friends then become enemies (but with that hope that one day they may get past their differences)
Heee, the idea of you writing Charles/Erik fic makes me ever so happy! Yay! I would be happy to beta...though with my fandom butterfly flighty-ness, I can't guarantee how long I'll be into the fic for these guys...I get distracted ever so easily :-p But if it's in the relatively near future, yes, would love to beta for you! ^_^
I'll probably get back to you next week, and if you're still interested then, cool :) (Next week because I'm off to London and a small trip through south England over the weekend/beginning of next week). I know how it is with being a fannish butterfly - I was madly in love with Thor fandom for about a week and a half and now suddenly I'm not.
Oh, have fun in London! (god, I miss that city SO MUCH!!)
Yeeah, pretty much the absolute longest I've ever stayed truly active in a fandom was for a little over a year, in SGA. Otherwise, it's normally a few weeks to six months...clearly I have the attention span of...well...a butterfly ^_-
In a fab montage, the pair go on a recruiting drive, in which they perch on a strip-club bed.
"That scene got exceptionally silly at one point," says McAvoy. "I don't know if I'm even allowed to tell you what originally happened. But it got pretty f---in' kinky. I'm not joking."
Was the dashing duo's bromance, uh, consummated?
"Unfortunately no. But there was a little bit of cross-dressing going on. That's all you need to know."
(For the record, McAvoy would have preferred it if Xavier and Magneto stayed together. Like, really together. "It is a little bit of a mini-tragedy that him and Magneto don't, you know, have sex and become married and become best friends.")
LOL, I've come across that quote like four different place in the last 24 hrs, heee! It is rather fabulously spectacular, especially that last wonderful bit! ^____^
