Finally, a post!
Life has been extremely busy! I was bestowed (sarcasm there) with some new responsibilities at work. I am teaching Writing to all three 6th grade classes, which I love, but means I have four hours less of prep time each week. I've been trying to get all my grading done on Friday so that all I need to do on the weekend is lesson planning. To lighten my load further, I gave a parent the job of newspaper advisor of the 5th and 6th grade newsletter, and gave the two other teachers Literature planning responsibilities. That certainly does help.
My boys are growing up beautifully. I am amazed and frustrated with them daily. I think that's normal. They are learning so much in school and getting a proper education. I'm such a fanatic with education now. I think it's a bit unhealthy, but what they are learning is so fascinating. And they can't stop talking about what they learn in Science, History, Poetry, etc. It's so refreshing.
I've been dating Joel for about a year and a half now. I can hardly believe it! We've had our ups and downs but he is truly my strength. He's wonderful, supportive, and loves me and my children. I feel so lucky to have him in my life. He is most undoubtedly my true love. Sappy, eh? Bah! :P
Well, that's good enough for an update I suppose. I hope you all are well and I miss you. I have 3 months off of work this summer, so I'll have more time to haunt you! Muwahahahahahaha.
