I forgot this was airing tonight or I would've included it in my earlier post.
From the sexed-up Suzie Wong to the kung fu fighting Bruce Lee, American Masters tackles issues of race and representation in "Hollywood Chinese."
There are clips at hollywoodchinese.com and at PBS: introduction, interview outtakes.
I found the segments with Luise Rainer... odd. I guess because I expected the clips to be edited in such a way that the other actors challenged her statements (about yellowface). But mostly they don't engage with them.
