Video thingie: SPN 4.19 "Jump the Shark"
Apparently this learning-to-vid business is manifesting itself in me making these random video thingies, just because.
I'm currently vidding Idle Hands, which has a "killer under mom's bed" scene that's really similar to the one from "Jump the Shark." So I put them together. I don't think Supernatural was necessarily drawing from this movie; I'm sure it's a common trope used before in places I'm not aware of. And it too is silly and pays homage to its genre.

Then I thought it might be fun to find ALL those scenes and put them up against their originals. The ball bouncing down the stairs from The Changeling, the closeup of hotel room number 237, the Groundhog Day alarm clock, the kids from The Kids Are Alright and whatever show that referenced, etc.
...And then I thought about the Titanic steamy window scene, and then I had to STOP THINKING.
