Notes: (I have a new toy, Inkscape open source vector graphics editor.) I've only seen up to mid season three of Lost, and I know absolutely nothing about Lost fandom. I have no idea what this is in reference to, but I do not care, because it is awfully pretty. And it has a lava lamp in the background. Or an enormous butt plug.

The narrow palette ties it all together. And yum. For some reason, 'vector graphics' brings very slick webgraphics to mind for me... I love how gestural your marks are here.

Whee, new toy! ♥

ps. This, from the Inkscape page, killed me: en_US@piglatin: 64%

Thank you! I used the calligraphy setting, mostly, and it's nice and swooshy. I don't know enough about Illustrator to say how the functionality compares, but the interface takes some getting used to, for me. Hee, pig latin, I know!

That brand is quite popular on the island. The lava lamp is canon, but I KNOW, when I drew it I said to myself: self? in this context? that looks like an enormous butt plug. ;) But I have actually read fic in which a lava lamp was used as a sex toy. It was very wtf.

Thirty thumbs up. Ridiculously funny and yet....so plausible. You should post this in a Lost fanart comm, it'll be a hoot!

Heee! Oh, awesome! My mind just boggles at the implications behind this deceptively simple still life. And yes, I'm still in awe of how you manage to pack so much into a composition with seemingly so few strokes. You rock!
