Might I direct your attention to a site I haven't seen mentioned much: IMCDb.org. Like IMDb except with, you know, cars.
Here's the Supernatural page. Of course we know what the Metallicar is. But also, according to them, John's truck is a Chevrolet K-10, Andy's van is a Dodge Tradesman, and Rumsfeld's doghouse is a 1968 Ford F-350. Also, the ghost truck from Route 666 is a 1962 Dodge Somethingoranother, the semi from Devil's Trap is a Western Star 4964, and they even list the Hollywood Babylon golf carts.
And:
The De Lorean. KITT and Dwight Schrute's (vomit warning) and how is it that I already knew they were the same car omg. I looked up the original Italian Job because I wondered about the Minis, and aren't they cute! Also Mr. Bean's. And Marie's from The Bourne Identity.
