I adore Election. I'm stunned it isn't more people's favorite movie, and I've never seen any fanfic or meta or anything about it, which makes me sad. On the other hand, unlike some movies, I can only rewatch Election so many times in a row or I get really cranky and irritable because none of the characters are ever happy (except Chris whatshisface, who's character is too stupid to be sad). It's a little too much like a real high school experience to me.
