I am just bowled over, because
leelastarsky and I
won hp_fringeart's Imitation Challenge! I am beside myself; I can't believe it. Thank you, thank you, Fringe Artists! I've had so much fun in my time there, and I'm so proud to be in the company of such skilled folks.
If you haven't seen them yet, this challenge's entries can been seen
by tags, or
at the gallery. They've all been pretty fantastic, and I got the chance to see a lot of art that I'd never heard of before.
This really made my day,
especially because I've been in a wacked-out fucked-up sort of place lately. For the past several days, I've been reading
Cambiare Podentes: Invocare, and it is triggering me heavily. In a "can't sleep, can't concentrate, intrusive thoughts" sort of way. And yet I have absolutely no intention of putting it down. (So please don't spoil me?) I'm as fascinated by my reaction to the story as I am by the story itself. I can't stop thinking about submission and ownership and paradoxes and the nature of personhood and how all of those things intersect with sex. And I'd like to post about it after I finish the story, if I can drag my brain out from this bizarre flashbacky technicolor hellhole.
Thanks again, y'all. It's such an honor. *mwah*
