Pray for Our Country
In The Book of Matthew, Jesus tells us that in the last days they will, "deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake" (24-9). When I see stories floating around like these from last week, it makes me wonder how much longer the persecution of Christians will remain confined to the Middle East.
Apparently, these first two hit at almost the exact same time. First off, Washington’s National Cathedral hosted a Muslim prayer service last Friday. They covered all the Christian trappings and began to pray, during which time a Christian woman stood up and proclaimed Christ until she was escorted out of the venue. Prayers for this woman, PLEASE! I praise God that there was found at least one righteous person!
Meanwhile, over at the House of Representatives:
They were standing there with their heads bowed as he said, "thee do we worship".

On the heels of all this we were blasted with freezing temperatures nationwide and crippling snow in some places... I'M JUST SAYING! Do we really want God to turn his face from us?
It's not just in the states.
If Jews or Christians did a prayer session on the grounds of a mosque it would be seen as a provocation or trespassing and they would be arrested or removed. But if Muslims do a typical provocative prayer session at one of the worlds most iconic Christian buildings, then it is everyone else who has to be PC.
To any follower of Christ who believes in spiritual warfare, this is terrifying. Please pray for Revival! Teshuva!
