Fertility battle is still not going well. I'm currently in the Quantum Period following my third IUI. I had a horrific reaction to all the fertility drugs this time around and found myself for about two weeks in a haze of anger and depression. I'm sick of it

Holy crap, you do such fantastic stuff I figured you had a Phd! You have self educated yourself marvelously.

I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time with conceiving. Perhaps no decision should be made until all the extra hormones are out of your system?

Fertility issues are tough going. Someone who used to work for me spent over $100k with his wife with IVF, to no avail. My wife and I tried for a long time, but after both of us getting tested we realized it was her physiology that was the issue. I told her from the outset that IVF wasn't a path I was prepared to go, as I didn't want to bankrupt myself (based upon the anecdote above). We were going to Uterine Placement, but then we ... kinda broke up, as you know.

I like your depression anecdote. I can kind of relate; lately I've been having two meals a day rather than three, and some days just one (like yesterday). Depression evaporates all your fun away.
