Thing I did while in my nation's capital:
-Stayed at a Ramada. What a dump!
-Ate a fine Omlette at IHOP.
-Saw the World War II memorial, and noticed that the 50 states are out of order. (My theory is that they were sorted as to who went to the "pacific"theater, and who went to the "Atlantic" theater).
-Took note of the all the geese shit and mosquito larvae at the Kennedy reflecting pool.
-Saw cobwebs on Abraham's ear at the Lincoln memorial.
-Saw the Vietnam War memorial, where we were acosted by evangilists. Ryan delfected their attempts at conversion by informing them he couldn't read, and therefore their pamphlets were useless against us.
-Went to the Smithsonian Natural History musuem and looked at many dead things.
-Enjoyed a fine snowcone.
-Visited the Spy musuem and acquired some spy skillz.
-ate Jumbalaya.
-Used newly acquired spy skillz to infiltrate a Hyatt hotel unnoticed to use their men's room when said Jumbalaya did not agree with me.
-Visited the Taft Memorial, only to discover that Taft was not in fact fat, like my girlfriend said he was.
-Visited the Japanese American memorial, and took note of the smell of the stagnate water in the fountain, and then laughed with ryan put his hand in it, and made his hand smell stagnate.
-Found a Johnny on the spot at the Washington Monument where someone has shat on the seat (this particular incident reminded me of Hostel, especially since there was a guy forcing his six year daughter to use said Johnny on the spot).
Overall we had a fun trip. Our caravan included me, my girlfriend T, my friend Ryan, and his girlfriend Sarah. We drove down tuesday night after I got off work, and stayed at a Ramada in Maryland. The idea was that being that close the night before would give us time to get into the city in the morning, and see as many things as possible. Unfortuneately, the American History musuem was closed, and we didn't get out of the other musuem in time to see the Air and Space musuem, so we really only got to see the monuments. You probably have to stay there a day or two to truly take everything in. We still had fun though. There were some pictures taken, and they may be up soon, so keep an eye out.
