Random Scouting thoughts
Just got home from camp. It was a good one. All sections family camp which is usually the end of sept beg of oct. but it was a gorgeous weekend. With sun all weekend except for rain on Friday. It wasn't too bad as it was an indoor cabin type situation. We have got 2 new cubs as of last week, a friend of a cub and a sister of another cub. So life is pretty good.
We had a medieval themed one and watched "A Knights Tale" Friday night. Before it started I got the beavers, cubs and sibs into PJs and told them that we were going to go next door to the movie theatre. (the middle room which we made into a makeshift movie theatre with a projector.) One of the cubs (also the beaver leaders oldest) who watched us set it up, and in fact helped to drag some of the gear in came up and asked me.
"Chil do we need to get our jackets and boots on?"
This made me think for a couple of seconds
"Bud, you saw us setting the theatre up. Its right through those (inside) doors"
In other news. I was at that awards night last week and kept having to think as to which hand to use to shake.
Going to take some more training next weekend. Gonna be a trainer I think. We will see how that goes.
I'm sleepy.
