Glass half full
The weekend started out pretty rough.
Friday night I got blown off by someone important. Then Saturday morning my parents had to cancel their trip here.
Sean cheered me up with a long morning of beer drinking, Darts, video games, and a hot breakfast.
I got called into work with Murphy. After work we went to Mikes and spent the rest of the night there drinking beers.about 5 or so I go to sleep.
9:00 Sunday morning I'm woken up by Joe Mararra, and Wildman getting Jim to go film something crazy. We get our stuff together, and head to an express way to meet Brad and an few others. I'll show the photos of this later (sorry for the suspense), but it was insane skateboarding.
We then hit a few other spots, got more photos at each. then I was treated. We went to a backyard pool.
My chlorine jonze was fed. I love this pool. I was riding tile like 3rd try. It was a great session. I didn't shoot any photos at the pool. I was too busy skating. It was great. I got a good slam or two in as well. The crew dispersed, as Jim and I went to Kona.
At 4:00 I was showered, shaved, and on my way to work.
After work, I was exhausted. A glass of wine then I crashed out.
Monday I woke up early, got clean and semi organized. Did my MLK lifewisdom post.
Took my film and Job application to Ritz. Quit my job at the UC. Took my slides to the Micduff lab. drove to Murphys. Dropped off helmets, and did laundry. went to home depot and got 2x4s for the ledge I'm building. Picked up film form Ritz. picked up laundry, came home, changed for work, picked up slides, went to work.
It was a slow night. I parked 7 cars. good news is I got home at 9:00. Sean got home with news of a big pile of trashed wood at a near by church.
We got in my car and went pillaging. I got the rest of the wood for my ledge, and some more for painting canvas.
now I'm sipping my wine till I go to bed. Class is early tomorrow, and I've got film to develop.
