But really, what I mean is :5k (or 15k) is not worth an 8 hour drive to make.
If I happen to be in town that weekend anyway for something cool/part of a roadtrip, I might do it. is anything else cool happening that weekend?

however a race like that happens every week in the TC, and requires literally no training, so me doing the marathon wouldn't effect my ability to do that.
