I have no clue how the family managed to turn out so cute. I mean yeah Winter and Clark are both adorable... but sometimes even when you have two cute parents their kids still turn out kind of weird-looking, you know?

Nate lives in a constant paradox of being a complete asshole but needing to subsist on compliments and basic interaction. I'm just surprised he has such a good relationship with most of his family members. Like no joke, Roland is friends with all of his siblings (according to his relationship panels) but how they all managed this is a mystery to me.

I've played Constance before, briefly, in a failed ISBI--she was the first spouse of the legacy but I got bored with it since my little family seemed to only produce clones of the husband... oh, well.

This ISBI has been a lot of fun so far. I would recommend doing one, if you're up for it; my only word of advice as to how to play one would be, remember that you're only in control of one sim, if the others screw up it's not your fault. It's funny to watch the household fail but it is also kind of stressful if you're of the mindset that you're supposed to play it like a regular legacy (which I would say is my biggest problem with it so far; I hate watching my bbs fail so I do get kind of burned out on it easily). I would also say that an ISBI probably goes more smoothly for people who have decent hardware; I think the problem with challenges like Styx's Berry Crazy ISBI and Mariah's Skiptons is that, while they do seem to have good rigs, their games are either bloated by CC or their processors or graphics cards probably aren't as good as they look, judging by their pictures. Both things can slow down your game considerably and not only cause your input to lag, but the AI to lag, which leads to a lot of times where your sims are standing around doing nothing. (Speaking from experience, here; I first played TS3 on my mom's really outdated laptop and I had a crapload of CC and a subpar system that I tried to max out, which caused the game to move pretty slowly :-/)

As for what rules I'm playing by, you can find a points-based system here: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/573171.page But I am using a modified list of fails/successes that I got from comparing lists of other ISBIs floating around (primarily the Skiptons found on koelsims.com and the Nawatt ISBI).

Whew... hope that helped!
