That's right...it's back

And this time, it's even bigger...2 days, 12 bands, and a few surprises...

It's been one year since our first festival so it's about time we do it again. And let me tell you, folks, this one's going to be no less of a fantastic event. We've got another good dose of mind-blowing acts lined up for you and we're back in Old Town Hall. That's hours and hours of good music and good times on two floors. And if that's not enough, the festival's been expanded this year...Two nights of tasty sounds right in the heart of Fairfax City.

We'll be starting off on Friday night -- that's April 23rd -- at Old Firestation #3 [previously Firehouse Grill/Miller's Tavern] with an Avant Fairfax/DC Sonic Circuits showcase of Cuneiform Records artists, Ergo and Algernon [with Kingdom of Sharks opening]:

Ergo: http://www.ergoisaband.com/
Algernon: http://www.myspace.com/algernonmusic
Kingdom of Sharks: http://www.myspace.com/kingdomofsharks

This will all be right across the street from Old Town Hall with an $8 suggested donation and the party starts at 8pm. It is a bar, so 21+ only. [Saturday's show will be all ages, though]

The following night, on Saturday the 24th of April, we'll be back in Old Town Hall with the big festival. This year's lineup will include performances by:

Lac La Belle: http://www.myspace.com/laclabelle
Nick Schillace: http://www.myspace.com/nickschillace
Little Howlin Wolf: http://www.myspace.com/jamespobiega
Pots and Powercells: [mem. of Human Adult Band: http://www.myspace.com/humanadultband]
Eric Carbonara: http://www.ericcarbonara.org/
with Jesse Sparhawk: http://www.myspace.com/jessesparhawk
Blue Sausage Infant: http://www.myspace.com/iabluesausageinfant
with guest percussionist Pilesar: http://pilesarmusic.com
Kuschty Rye Ergot: http://www.myspace.com/kuschtyryeergot
& Twilight Memories of the Three Suns

The fun starts at 5pm and lasts until 1am when the sounds must stop.

As usual, donations will gladly be accepted at the door. The musicians need your support.
