Holiday Miracles

Do you ever watch "Dinner: Impossible" and think, five minute before the end of the show, "he's so screwed! He'll never get it all done," and then are amazed when he does? Our holidays have been like that. Out of nowhere, I/we managed to pull together a happy, meaningful, family-fill Hanukkah and Christmas for our kids and family. I seriously didn't think it would all come together. Each festive meal, each set of gifts, each family occasion that was prone to (nearly entirely avoided) family drama I was sure would fail. Our Hanukkah and Christmas miracles- that they all came out right in the end. So now, time to sleep and try to get healthy again.
