Of #4: If you mean by that, I don't deceive - then I take that as a complement. =:o) Sometimes, I can be honest to the point of pain. :: blush and restrained chuckling ::
#7: The original reason for picking my fursona, was because of the many tails (the snuggle factor), and the powerful magic of the being. It made sense, since he was born from my (nighttime) dreams - and in them, I have no normal bounds under the laws of physics. Thought becomes reality.
As it turned out later on, I've found many parallels between the fire-sprit nature of the kitsune, and that of both myself (IRL - at least from a psychoanalytical POV), and the original dreams.
In the dreams, I could both set fire, and put out fire, with the mere wave of a hand; in addition, these powers were almost always used for benevolent purposes.
Kitsune are noted for their fire magic; they could also be written as having the ability to absorb fire-elemental energy. This, of course, would allow them to extinguish flame.
In the dreams, I could fly quite easily; as astral beings, there's no reason why kitsune could not fly. They have no actual mass - and as I've told in my stories and roleplay, Fenny doesn't really have a body. It's only a simulation - more substantive (and energy-consuming) than a pure illusion (a finely-honed skill of the kitsune race), but less permanent (and energy-consuming) than true matter synthesis (which is what he does when he gives gifts - the item is duplicated, and is given a large enough dose of energy as for its atoms to hold together, just like any other matter).
Plus.. while I don't always show it, I, IRL, can be provoked to high emotional/passionate states - not so much as in anger (though it's happened), as in emotions not easily described. This is why I do my best poetic work while listening to music - and about 95% of my brainstorming is done in that matter. It's a musical catharsis that allows the birth of such ideas.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Fenny is a powerful fire-spirit, so he can have a sense of control in his world; his player feels like he has no conrol. Fenny is the flippers in one pinball machine; his player is the pinball in another. =;o)
Of course, coffee helps, too - especially if you read through this entire comment. =;o)
