NEW BIDDING PROCEDURE
Due to the loss of thefreeauction.com site, all bidding this year will be done via EMAILS!
If you wish to bid on, and thus win, any item/s located on the DONATED ITEMS page under the heading of:
CATEGORY:
BIDDING ITEMS
Then follow the procedure below:
1. Create your "Bid Email"
- In the SUBJECT line of your email, put the word "Bid" followed by the Item #/s and bid amount (see below for example)
SUBJECT: BID GMAUCA#1 - $30
- In the body of your email, provide me with the handle/name that will be used and thus made 'public' on the "DONATED ITEMS" page - next to the item you're bidding on. Then COPY AND PASTE the item description from the DONATED ITEMS page. This will aid in avoiding errors should you type the wrong item #, as I'll compare what you copy and pasted with your Subject line. Then restate your BID
2. Send your "BID EMAIL" to: alysideburns@gmail.com
Each item has a STARTING bid of $10 and all subsequent bids must be in, at a minimum, increments of $5
I will update winning bids DAILY while leaving the name and old bid amount in place, but scratched out. On Saturday, September 21st, at MIDNIGHT PST, the highest bidder will be based on the LAST email (with a higher bid) I receive PRIOR to 12:01am PST.
The winner will be noted on Sunday, September 22nd, at which time they can begin the payment process.
All other Categories of the Auction will be done in the same manner as past years
