Busy Saturday
Our friend the Tinker has been looking at the house: All of the windows need to be replaced. We found a contractor on Angie's list. We will be out $5k. We have a home equity line of credit, and we will use some of it here. After all, it will be protecting our home equity
That old router I bought from the Tinker was lacking a sub-base. No point in looking for accessories or spare parts for a device from 1963. So I made one out of some good plywood:
This afternoon I took my bicycle out. I rode west on County Road B2, which change into Terminal Road at the west end of Roseville. I then went through Sunset Cemetery, stopping at the graves of my maternal grandparents, then on to their old house in NE Minneapolis. After that I went north to 37th and turned east. 37th became County Road D at the Ramsey County line. I resisted the temptation to stop at Barley John's Brewpub and went on into Roseville and home.
