mia_mcdavid and I spent some time this morning on post-snowstorm house maintenance. We cleared some snow from the deck, and unplugged a downspout that had frozen up. A heat gun and boiling water did the job here.
After that Mia went out to visit
redwingkali. I ran some errands, then went home for the rest of the day. I did some hand sewing on a 17th century style

- Roughly double, or more, the amounts of soy sauce, rice vinegar and sherry.
- I used 3 tsp of chili paste rather than hot oil.
- Chopped bitter melon helps.
It also helps to start with really good strong stock. Ours was largely chicken based, but included turkey, beef, and whatever else we had been eating--we freeze the bones and remains for this purpose. I suspect it will work with whatever you have, it is a case of nothing exceeds like excess.Reply
