I feel like I live in the House that Jack Built...
Remember that rhyme? this is the thing that did something to the something that did something to the something that did something to the something, that lived in the house that Jack Built?
So, today - I have to:
bake the falafel that occupies the pot that will cook the stock that will make the pilaf that will be the dinner eaten by the girls who live in the house that Jack built.
seriously. Went to prep bulgur fennel pilaf (stop rolling your eyes. this recipe Kicks. Butt.) and discovered that I need to make stock because I have none. went to make stock an discovered that my pot was missing. because it was in the fridge full of un-baked falafel goo. So currently the falafel goo is on a baking sheet, the oven is heating up and I have to empty the dishwasher to load the dishes that fill the sink that will wash the pot that will cook the stock.... You get the idea.
Seriously. I live in a nursery rhyme today.

dishwasher
pilaf
swiss chard
101cookbooks lentil almond stirfry
(cooking ahead so we can come home for the rest of the week and be vegetables.)
possibly an ikea project, but shhh. don't tell the beloveds. they'll squeak.
