Up until now my livejournal was entitled "Not Really Here" because I really didn't intend to write here. I only signed up for an account so that I wasn't commenting anonymously all the time. But now it turns out that 4/5 of my immediate kids are using this and quite possibly, the remaining 1/5 will soon as well. Besides which, it seems like I wind up writing to various "kids" on here as well. So... I've decided that I'll start writing my more "universal dad" stuff here, effectively immediately. Look to my various other sites for my other stuff. The breakdown looks something like this:
This is my oldest site. It shows. What its been most recently is sort of a repository for all my photography. What it's becoming, I'm not quite sure. But I'm gradually moving stuff over to http://visualpoetry.net, getting rid of it entirely, or at least paring it way down because this site's gotten way out of control with thousands of photos and unknown subfolders, etc. (Think of it like the virtual extension of my office for anyone who's seen that. - http://visualpoetry.net
Not too much here as of this writing. In fact, I don't think I've even got an opening page on it right now. But this is what's becoming my new online portfolio of finished, visual art. - http://youknowtheysay.com
This is where I rant and murmur about anything going on in the world at large as well as the webosphere. This is what I think of as a "weblog" if you're familiar with that bit of trendy language. - http://glenn.mcgahamiller.net
This is my journal or diary of all the "private" thoughts and laundry I'm not ashamed to air in public. - http://rovingwebcam.com
This is my "photoblog"... The daily, random pictures... Sort of like "practice" and sort of like a combination of http://youknowtheysay.com and http://glenn.mcgahamiller.net, but in pictorial form. - http://gm2.deviantart.com/
I'm mostly trying to restrict myself here as far as journal entries on my thoughts about art. Its also where I'll be selling prints of my photo work.
That's about it for now, but look for more to come!
