Japan Trip, Day 12
See previous entry for the beginning of the day. But, the early afternoon was replete with more Monopoly goodness as Grey took me to one of his adult Eikaiwa classes. I met several of his students who were fascinated by the scary foreigner, and I played the banker during a game. The class began, I might add, with an activity called “2 Truths and a Lie” from which I abstained. We broke for lunch at the apartment, after which Grey went to the office. He later collected me for the second class, for Monopoly once again. This time I played the game too, and lost horribly due to a long run of bad luck. In any case, it was fun.
For supper, we hit up the 7-11 where one of his students from the first group works and bought mans, doughy things filled with meat, curry, or pizza goodness.
