Attn Brandon and Grey
Let's get some serious planning going on here, using this post as a forum, if you will for planning.
Basic guidelines:
Home --> bus --> Boston (BOS)
Boston (BOS) --> airplane (duh) --> Tokyo (NRT) (1/2 of a round-trip ticket)
** preliminary BOS departure date 01/25/07, arriving NRT 01/26/07
Tokyo (NRT) --> airplane --> Hiroshima (HIJ)
At Hiroshima, I really hope Brandon would be able to meet me with some form of transportation.
Approx. one week of time cruising around w/Brandon.
After which, I'd like to take the world's fastest train from south to north, at which point or about where I could meet Grey who has transportation as well, yes I know there's a lot of wishful thinking here.
Approx. one week of time cruising around w/Grey.
Ideally, there is an airport near Grey that can get me --> Tokyo (NRT)
Tokyo (NRT) --> airplane --> Boston (BOS)
** preliminary NRT departure date 02/12/06, arriving BOS 02/13/07 - 02/14/07
Boston (BOS) --> bus --> Home
So, total time about for this trip, including travel should be in the neighborhood of 3 weeks, unless I were to shorten the stay at each end to be able to leave for home on the previous Thursday, 02/08/07.
Ultimately, I'd love a longer vacation, but, A) I don't want to impose on people who are actually working while I'm kicking back, and B) my store needs my attention this winter again
So, let's try to iron out the details about this grand road trip, and whne the $$$ comes in, I can be ready to book tickets and all. :)
