Sarah Continued...
After reading Sarah's entry I felt compelled to post my pleasant experience of the day.
I've noticed that I get treated a little fancier whenever I dress up a bit. Today was a fancy day.
Before I got home, I had to move my car to the other side of the street. I drive around and find a spot. It's a little tight, but I can do it. There was a group of kids about my age sitting outside a little ways away, and they were watching me trying to get into this spot. I don't parallel park well under pressure!! One of the guys starts walking over to me, and I'm thinking, 'Oh great, he's going to yell at me not to hit his car', so I roll down the window to appologize and ask if there's even enough room for me to park. He says, 'Let me pull up my car a bit so you can get it!' !!! So he hops in his car, pulls up like 15 feet, waits for me to park, and then re-backs up! HOW NICE!!! I got out of my car and thanked him and told him how sweet that was of him. I then headed on my way, and heard his friends razzing him. I like to think that they were giving him a hard time for being too chicken to ask me to have a beer with them.
That was the smaller of the two lovely things that happened to me today. :)
