Randomness
Hi-
Well, I had a wonderful date on Monday with Scott, my new bf. Steve and I are still friends, and I think we always will be that, but I have to admit that I was really torn apart by our breakup. It's difficult to imagine just how raw and vulnerable someone, anyone, can be during such a passionate relationship that the wounds we cause to each other aren't noticeable until the salt of breakup is poured on them.
(Cool Metaphor, huh?)
I loved Steve. Part of me still loves Steve. Part of me always will, but I am no longer in Love with Steve. Nor him to I, I think.
But we're okay now- comics aside. And I wish him well on his 4th book.
(Have you made 4 books? Yeah, it is quite an accomplishment, huh?)
Sonic the Movie is on hold right now. Sega is trying to get the show Sonic X (A Transformers Armada type show) on the US airwaves right now, and that has put our lil' project on hold.
I'm still working on pages though, because the Image book is happening no matter what, so that's cool...It keeps me busy, but I'm not seeing any cash from it, so I'm still poor.
I just sent in my "Pro" info to Comic Con and am patiently waiting for my conformation to arrive via snail-mail.
Also, I'll be deferring my enrollment to MCAD for a year until A) The movie deal takes off or B) I can afford it. Either way, it's another year in California, and another year of trying to make it on my own.
