This is a follow up to
http://gluzd.livejournal.com/101816.html 3000 miles so far. Generally happy about the car, but I wish
- those 168" in length were in a box format so I can have more f***ing space inside! By box, I mean Scion xB, Range Rover, or even GM's own Opel Combo Tour. When you push the driver's seat all he way to the back, even a small child has no leg space left! Interior space is where Buick engineers failed at fulfilling their claim to have designed Encore as a Scion xB for adults. I'd also vote for sacrificing trunk cargo space for the leg room.
- the bijuterie like hood vents wasn't there in there in the first place.
- the "luxury" wasn't half-baked. Yes they have memory seats, but you have to keep holding the button for a seat to move into position and it doesn't affect the interior rear view mirror. Yes, they have rear view camera, but it doesn't have guides, so it's not that useful for parallel parking.
- they fix iPhone 5 bug where there's no audio over USB intermittently.
- they add more USB ports for family members
- the front pillars were thinner. I almost ran over someone a few days ago because he was moving at the same time as the car's driver-side pillar and ended up hiding behind it.
