Friends again~

Me and Kitty are friends again. ...Well we never really stopped being friends, we were just not talking to each other. She was mad at me because she felt that I was being rude when I stated my opinion and because I disagreed with her. She doesn't like that I said "ugly" because she thinks it's rude (even if the ugly thing in question isn't actually real). And she says that when I say something she likes is ugly it makes her feel like I'm saying she likes ugly things. What made me mad was that because my opinion wasn't the same as hers, and because I didn't say it the way she thought I should have, she didn't even want to listen. And part of accepting me and being friends with me is accepting that I'm an opinionated person, and I'm not going to refrain from speaking my mind just because someone else might disagree with me. I did agree to try and be nicer about how I phrase things. But I'm not going to change the meaning altogether, because my opinion is my opinion and just because someone doesn't like it doesn't mean it'll change. And I was also mad because she called me an annoying bitch. That was really unnecessary, and I'd never have called her that no matter how mad I was.So, we're mostly made up. We'll still have disagreements, but probably not one that results in her being irrationally angry.
I need to remember that Pokemon is indeed serious business to Kitty.
