I never update so savor this experience, dear journal.
I surivived another semester. I got an A- in one of the hardest classes ever to be created by man. Swell with Pride. It was a great end of semester (and a damn great semester for that matter) but pretty bittersweet considering all of the long term goodbyes that happened. As last week went on, texas became what I wanted more and more. I craved it. And yesterday, after a crazy adventure to the airport and almost missing the flight (for awhile I was convinced I just was not meant to get on that plane - and it really pissed me off) I landed in Houston with a smile. It is really nice to be home for a little while. Its been over 4 months, and I really missed things.
tonight I went to the movies with Alan and then came home and cooked crawfish pasta for my family. oh, baby. crawfish. mmmmmm.
I do enjoy the south.
So in a week I am going up to Austin to A) see Margie Crail. Woot Woot! B) Start working at a summer camp for the summer. This makes it a short trip home - just long enough to give me my fill but not make me want to pull my hair out. If you want to contact me at camp, my address is:
Amanda Shultz (counsulor)
104 Balcones Springs Drive
Marble Falls, TX 78654
send me love.
i'll be done working there and back in Houston July 23rd
So, now that I am home I am able to really see how my mom is doing. She isn't very good, friends. She needs your prayers.
I don't really feel like writing anymore about that right now.
