Tryin' On Different Skin, Temporarily

I've been out of the RPin' game for some time now.... but I couldn't help but be tempted when those people around me are makin' characters for a d20 Modern game. Building up my courage, I coyly asked Jason if there was still room in his game. Thus the tailoring of the 'Average Man' skin began. If my character were a superhero, Average Man would be his name... either that or 'Rather Dashing' ala Peasant Quest. Aside from my incredibly charming alter-ego, I realized how much fun it is to hang out with other geeky type friends and joke around in someone else's story. Though by far, the highlight of the night was making fun of Jason's handwriting. Whoever thought that it would be possible to express the mentality of mental patient in writing - and I don't mean the 'style in which the words were strewn together', but the actual way it was written. :P

Oh, by the by, thanks to WatSFiC, I have a new addiction that is Laser Tag...which drains my wallet more frequently than I'd like. I'm considerin' goin' to an Ironman game on Saturday Night - $11 for a 30 minute game...and everyone and their mother should come. It's a long game so those that are asthmatic, I suggest bringing a puffer. For those that are simply out of shape, like myself, I suggest bringing shots of adrenaline. In any case, bring a competative edge..... and $11 dollars. :)

I hope we can do another watsfic lock-in this term, cause I can always use more stress relief. :)
