While you are my favorite uncle, I don't appreciate that the things that you said about father in your previous missive. I cannot believe that you would be so petty about his sacrifice. We should not judge father by the number of his marriages or his affairs. I just wish you would take a moment to think about his contributions to the family over the years.
Please come home as soon as you can. I understand that you are currently touring vineyards and that the information you are gathering will be invaluable to House Bayle, but as a family we must pull together and support Valerian. Do you think he should marry? I really should have a conversation with my half-brother soon about more than immediate concerns.
