Way to start the New Year, Earth Coalition
Apparently, I need to pay better attention to what's been going on in my own backyard. You know you're doing a sucky job when some other quasi-omnipotent being has to point things out to you. I guess Sul figures that this is his way of repaying me for saving his life. He said that "something interesting" is happening on Canopius IV, one of the outpost worlds under Earth Coalition jurisdiction.
I knew that the military was working on some new kind of powered battle armor a couple years back. That's how I got ahold of the myomer needed to build Orlando's robotic body. I just had no idea that in that short amount of time, they've already gone through the prototype and testing phases! At this rate, they're going to be ready to start churning these things off the assembly lines!
But here's the kicker: I've checked out the specs on these suits, and this is some seriously major technology. Sargonic metal alloy? Where the hell did they get their hands on that? Fully hermetically sealed, impervious to extreme temeratures, capable of operating in a vacuum at zero-gee, and it augments the wearer's strength to equal that of a Crog.
This can only mean one thing. The Earth Coalition is planning a full-scale invasion of Kramm. Has probably been planning this thing for quite sometime.
All the time and effort I've spent working on this peace treaty between humans, Nourasians, and Crogs will all be for nothing if this invasion goes according to plan.
