hpv is a std and gardasil is how you prevent or treat it

it is not an std!!
and gardasil can't treat it. only prevent.
and i just found out that i think it's too late for me.

no, i don't have it. i want the vaccine though. i was pretty sure i had it, i just always assumed i did because the number one cause is teenage sex for females. i found out like a month ago i don't have it, which was cool.

a lot of people have hpv though. just because you have hpv doesn't mean you're gonna get cervical cancer though.

I went to the doctor like amonth ago and the doctor told my mom to have me get these shots for hpv. its like 3 shots you have to get over a certain amount of time and it prevents it. I've already had to indure the first shot. lol

i'm waiting until mid-february because a lot of insurance companies don't cover it, but in mid-february a lot of the companies are adding gardasil to their list of medical coverages. otherwise it's $900!
