Sooooooo, I've got myself a new job and it looks like it's here to stay. I'm working for my hair dresser doing everything except hair :P Short term plans are just basic helping around the salon and keeping my boss on schedual and getting her home before midnight -- long term (ok, not really long, like 6 months?) is move to a bigger location, add a few more stylists, and lighten my bosses load a bit a lot. Her husband's been sick/hurt for the past... 6 months and can't work and oh lots of that stressful stuff that comes with a whole life shake up. So, I'm now around to help her and drown her in positivity and getting paid. Which is nice~
Bad shit is going down at the retail job, my bestie is getting the hammer dropped on her and she's close to getting out. I've had 3 shifts in the past 4 months. I'll be giving my 2 weeks once I know the bestie is in the free and clear ^_^
super bonus of the new job? it's like less than 2 miles from home and I can bike there ^_^ I'll ask for padded bike shorts for my birthday (omg, 50 bucks to keep your but from falling off, wtf) and have my dad service my bike for me and I'll be all set. I can make it up the hill by my house (not huge, just LONNNGGGGG and winding) and still need to do a few dry runs into town to tackle the other hill and get some idea of how long it'll take. I'm thinking about 20-30 mins tops. which is nice. Save some gas, save some ozone, get some exercise~
Can't remeber if I posted anything about this and can't be bothered to look back, but we lost one of our cats a few weeks back. He was 18 and we loved him very much and I miss him terribly but I know my brother misses him even more. I can't even think about what I'll be like when it's my lovey's time. *sniff*
Picked up a few more dog sitting clients. I should make some kind of info flyer or something, just to look good - not a bragging thing, but kinda professional? not really professional but you know, something more than 'here's her phone number!' idk
Had easter with the family a week late - works better for the most of us, but I had work that morning and my bro missed some racing - he kinda runs the team he's on, I'm really pround of him, not like I can say that to him, but I am~~ but we got to play with the baby! and she puked on my dad twice! HHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAAAHA IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!! double-y funny becase my dad was laying on his back with her on his stomach facing him so she was on her tummy (on his tummy?) and it's extra funny because my cousin HATES 'tummy time' the whole activity of putting a baby on it's tummy so they can learn to hold their head up. Which our girl has been able to do her whole life practically, she SO strong!! She wants to crawl and run SO bad and she's only 4 months. She'll be a mover and shaker for sure! (and she hugged the bunny I gave her! though I know she wasn't really hugging it I like to think she knew what she was doing and how much it meant to me *teary eyed* bunnies are important to me and my family)
