"He made nature and nature made everything else."
I'm not particularly religious...at all. But this quote is fucking beautiful and amazing. Their eyes were watching God, probably one of the best books in the entire universe of books...or anything else for that matter. Driving around on all the back roads tonight and thinking about my greensboro past really made me miss reading. Real reading. Not skimming over 3 million pages about the creation of the atomic bomb or japanese society, but punch you in your heart amazing reading...and i'm going to get that feeling back.
I think i'm getting slightly emotional because soon Greensboro is going to be one big memory and my house with all my weird shit crammed into the crevaces isn't really home anymore. I have to make my own home feeling now and that is really weird. It's a good weird, an exciting weird, a life experience weird...and i have my books. and my friends. books and friends. i like it.
Tonight on my late night steak and shake outing with wookie, he gave me the duty of coming up with an alibi. Not just any alibi...
an alibi for the big bad wolf.
now you're probably thinking, "oh whitney, you silly little girl, we all know that the bbw was a huge bastard and just wanted to kill the little piggies."
well what if the big bad wolf had asthma...
did you ever think of that?
No, of course you didn't. No one ever thinks that maybe it was a high pollen day outside and the little piggies were malicious swine who hid his inhaler.
Kind of turns your world upside down, doesn't it?
i have to babysit in 7 hours.
apparently when parents find "paraphenalia" they don't just leave it where they found it...
the buy whitney a new bowl fund starts today. pocket change up to large bills will be accepted at any time.
thanks,
