'Tis the season to be blown off...
Well today has been a real big hassle. I got called in to work because they supposedly needed extra help, and ended up working two hours because nobody was there. Then I was supposed to go see Kaylin which would have been awesome, but right as I was about to leave, I got a call from my parents asking me when I was getting off work (I already was at this point) because I had to go to my grandparents' house at three instead of six like I had previously thought, which meant I had to tell Kaylin I couldn't make it. That's the second time this week I've had to skip out on something I really didn't want to, and it pretty much sucks. I suppose it's not all bad though, as I never would have heard the end of it if I hadn't shown up like I was supposed to. Then I had the pleasure of taking my cousins and brothers to best buy where in total, we bought I think fifteen different video games, which is without a doubt the most I've ever seen purchased at any given time. Hopefully it will be enough to pacify my brothers for the next few weeks so I won't have them bugging me every ten minutes. Anyway, I have to get going because my family, as a tradition, goes to church on Christmas eve. I can't stand it, but it's only a 30 minute sermon once a year, so I just sort of zone out. Maybe this time I'll bring a book to read.
Oh yeah I almost forgot. I got a wonderful wake up call at about 2:45 this morning from Scottie who sounded about as wired as I've ever heard her. Although I was half-asleep for a good deal of the time, I must admit, we had a pretty funny conversation. I look forward to the next one.
