Wild Machines
Too much!
the alert machine has its flows breaking unevenly
flowing zig-zagidly.
Thought machines drown under the overflowing flows of caffeine.
The hair itches,
and the hand maps out a movement,
its finger tentacles scratch the itch machine.
Malfunction-alert!
Alert!
Alert!
The machine schizzes and fritzes-
bop bang, crackle!
The buzz machine starts flowing-
from a manifesto on drug users,
to a sci-fi story about Cyborgs,
to a philosophical discussion about machines…
A smoke machine connects to a lung machine,
a future cancer flow
perhaps?
The machine breaks into crisis,
come on mood shift-shift back again.
A desiring machine attempts to plug into a
Joy flow
Come on chemicals!
Work dammit!
Let’s stick some pills down the throat tunnel-
break open!
Disperse!
Finding its way towards
the cerebral machine.
